Yeah,
i would agree with you on that, a nice looking one at that, (although my mum said it looked like billy bass the singing fish).
what size is it?

Scottish record poss???

what i found after a quick google was the scottish record is 4lb 14oz from loch ard 1989

think the brittish record is 5lb 15oz

might be worth looking into it?

not sure what you have to do about it though

what was it caught on? was it put back ?

had another look and it appears brittish record is 5lb 9oz 8 dr.

Hi Mike , Andrew is right that gentleman in the photo HAS caught the largest perch in UK waters . All you need to do now is contact this link below which shows how record .

When did you branch out into coarse fish at Haddo?  I assume from the picture it was caught at your place.  That is one BIG fish!  Must have been fun on the fly rod.

If I remember rightly, the fish looked a little more blue before the sun caught it and cooked up the joke.
