Delgatie Trout Fishery
Delgatie Trout Fishery opened in August 2004 and offers fly fishing for rainbow trout and blue trout, for both bank fishing and boat fishing. Delgatie is a Troutmaster Competition Water. Set in the tranquil grounds of Delgatie Castle, the loch covers 4 acres and is well stocked with rainbow trout from 1.8 lbs to well in to double figures.
The fishery is open seven days a week from 8:00am and the closing times are adjusted as daylight permits. Rods, boats and fishing tackle are available for hire and visitors and novices are welcome.
Delgatie Castle Fishery is located three miles outside Turriff. Heading towards banff on the A947 road from turriff, take the first road to the right that is signposted Cuminestown and Delgatie Castle, the fishery is within the castle grounds.
Facilities at Delgatie Fishery include a fishing hut, toilet, car park , tea and coffee and a selection of fishing tackle and flies for sale.
