Description : Salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing on the River Don at Kintore. Double bank fishing from the northern to the southern boundary of the former burgh as indicated by markers. Then right bank fishing with the lower marker at the Tuach Burn and left bank fishing with the lower marker approx 180 yds upstream of Kintore Bridge.
( This is a complicated description and it is much easier to work out if you ask for a Kintore Burgh Fishings beat map when you buy your permit )
The most productive flies for brown trout are : March Brown, Greenwell's Spider, Black Spider, Iron Blue Dun, Olive Dun, Olive Quill, Invicta, Silver Invicta and Black Pennell.
