Hi folks
Hareslugs, Pheasant Tail Nymphs, Diawl Bachs, Damsels and Bloodworms have been on the menu at Haddo this week.
Junior angler Kieran McKay enjoyed another good 4hr session with 10 fish up to 7 lb, Brian Liebenberg netted 15 up to 9 lb, Davie Taylor 14 up to 10 lb, Lee Welsh 11 up to 10 lb, Kevin Neri 11 up to 4 lb, Clint Parsons 10 up to 6 lb and Hamish Young caught 39 trout up to 9 lb on a home tied bloodworm special.
The changeable weather is playing havoc with the humour of the fish and the fishing has not been easy, great one minute ......... dead the next ........... but that's fishing for you
Large dark midge are hatching on most days, we have also seen a good few olives ....... and I don't remember having seen so many Alder Fly at this time of year before?
