Hi folks
The menu was not easy to work out at Haddo this week, the normal tactics and flies for such weather conditions were performing below par and anglers were left thinking that the trout had obviously not "read the rule books".
Hamish Young enjoyed a good session tempting 10 fish up to 9 lb, Duncan White had 10 fish up to 12 lb, Jim Adie 12 up to 4 lb, Keith Crocket 12 up to 4 lb, Neil Garden 12 up to 10 lb and Bill Main had 13 fish up to 7 lb.
Some fairly large fish were seen moving on the surface throughout the week with Alex Hay, Tony Ceislik, Graeme Shepherd and Alex Kerr netting fish of 10 lb or more and Zander Hall a nice rainbow of approx 13 lb.
I can't remember taking many photos this week
but I'll have a look and see if there are any that I can post
