Hi Mike, i was just wondering of you have any plans for a range of medium and fast sinking lines ?  I would love it if i could get your flylines in more densities  - a fast sinking SLX would be awesome...

James, although not a fast sinker, did you notice that the SLXI come in two densities ? the green model at 2.5 to 3.0 IPS basically makes it a S2.5 or S3  :wink  http://www.flylineshop.com/barrio-slxi.html

cheers,

Hi James,

"one for the near future" may well mean for next season :z4 ...... give the SLXi or GT90i in brown a try, fingers crossed you'll like them.

Best wishes

If you are wanting it for streamer fishing, may I suggest a standard SLX (I have orange, I think the green would have been a better choice), cut off about 18" and add a loop. I then loop to loop 5 feet of T-11 or T-14 level line. This holds the streamer deep when stripping whilst still giving the chance to mend the line.

You can also use poly leaders and "tips" to get different levels.
Ok, I admit it, I quite like this salmon fishing lark....
