Well there's 90 minutes of my life that I will never get back. What a pile of kack! Thankfully Miss Blunt redeems herself in Edge of Tomorrow.
It was certainty not a casting video, that's for sure! Is that what non anglers think fishing is actually about and how it is done? Sigh.....
I am sure the book was excellent but the film not so much. No ten from Len!

WARNING: Do not watch this film unless you are a fan of films like "Love Actually" :z17

Just so Mr B, the film (unfortunately) isn't quite the political satire the book is (it's worth reading) and despite the strong cast unfortunately ends up being something of an also ran romantic comedy....but what do you expect when you send a decent novel to a scriptwriter and tell him it's a British comedy :? In angling terms there's no denying it's dire, "A River Runs Through It" has still to be beaten in terms of half decent fly fishing getting featured in mainstream (no pun intended) cinema.
It's still better than that bloody awful docu-movie about Megan Boyd "Kiss the water". Kiss my arse more like.... I wouldn't watch that again unless I was paid  :mad
