Yup they do and spectacular results and takes, love big bushy flees on a short line big wave, however with dries i'm meaning (mostly) size 14 and very sparse.  :wink

Fishing dries on lochs is something I really should do more of, in truth I seldom fish dries on lochs 'saving' them until I've tried pretty much everything else :!
However I have experimented (and with some success) with sparse DHE and such; I will do more this year.

More to the point, there were (according to one of my sources) some very good hatches of olives on one of the tributaries of the Beauly with some 'muckle' browns feeding.
I'm going to get by begging cap on and see if I can get on some of these stretches for trout before the Salmon lets start and test out Sandys theory in the north :wink
