Jeez Mike you really digging for old photos.
My god it was wet that day and that fish was like a bag of cement. The joy of trawling is that you just don't know what is going to hit the lure and if you have never tried trawling, you should. It can be a real day saver when the weather is against you and there is no wind.
If I can also just point out that that fish was a real turning point in my life. It was the last Brown trout that I killed.

Classic Haddo Trout Fishery in the Autumn. I miss being based at the fishery, but at the same time really enjoy being able to get out on the river more :z12
