Not so much a post as a fond remembrance after blanking at Midmar today. Mike could not have been more helpful as i was on catch and release and it still remains the best fish i have caught.

Sorry, this is probably in the wrong place and a bit random but am returning to this wonderful sport after an eight year absence. ...it was 11lb 8 oz by the way......oh, and Hamish I fished with you a few times in the civil service outings and remember you as being extremely patient and helpful. Anyway I am renewed with vigour and am a bit deflated after today but determined to attain these heights again.
Oh yeah.. It was a black buzzer that it fell to.
