Marc,
I must agree with Mike. I too take a lot of these types of pictures but I don't seem to be able to post them. Maybe the file size is to big when I use my camera because I can post pictures from my camera with no problem. Conversely it is maybe just my complete luddite approach to electronics that is getting in the way.

Regardless of my inabilities, nice pictures.

Eddie, i just use the resize feature on iPhoto. whatever you're using, i'm sure there's an equivalent.
you could always use this http://www.picmonkey.com
not bad at all for a free and simple image editor.

Marc,
no problem. Maybe Steven will come back with something useful. Like I said photographs from my phone are no problem but from the camera it is different.

Marc,

He knows better than too ask me  :X2

Here's an example of why...

Dad: "Stevie did you manage to wade back in from the shingle bar?"
Steven: "Yeah no worries"
Dad: Bravely soldiers on to find he's now submerged with the rod held out like excalibur.
Steven: Pissing himself laughing at the fact he is significantly taller and had to pull up his waders and just got out.

Now I never have seen this as my fault as I technically didn't lie. :z7 :z7 :z7 :z7

Did I mention it was on the Dee in February  :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4

I forgot about the Vice offer  :X1 :X1 :X1 :X1

Send me a picture in the file format that you are having issues with and I'll try and work out what's going on with it. :X2
