I have never fished for carp but that is a seriously cool video and you have got to love the water cooled drag system employed on the reel.

Also I'd have loved to see the face of the bloke fishing on the other bank when he poached a fish from right under his nose.

I still say there is room for a fly fishery that is stocked only with Carp. There is one in France and thats the only one I know of.

If stocked with F1 carp, you have a fish that feeds pretty much all year round, would top out around 10 pounds and that are far more happy to be handled and returned than trout, especially in the summer.

Cheaper than trout to stock as well ;)
