Have found a few micromesh replacement nets that I had put away 'in a safe place' :z4 If anybody would like one I can take them along tomorrow

Mike, Ben

Sorry, I not free for this one either. If you've no takers for the mesh Mike, could I take on off you? Got a wee snowbee frame that could do with an upgrade.

Good luck out there today, looks a bit wild!
I,

Mike Barrio

The guys were preparing to head out on the park, but not for me today, that sleet and wind is not my idea of fun! :z4

Cheers

good call! I'm sat at kitchen table doing some ADAA work on the laptop, drinking coffee, listening the wind batter the windows... I'm better off here!

Pathetic, both of you  :z4

Howling wind, sideways rain & sleet.  Met office observations at Dyce put wind at 26 -30MPH gusting 49 - 51MPH, may have been OK if it was not for the geography of the park which makes things gusty & inconsistent on the best of days.

Thanks to those who turned out, there should be an award simply for attendance today!

Results with best throws in red.

New series sea trout record for Kev, 147'

New series Salmon record for Pete 172'  This is especially impressive as only one month ago, Peter was almost disabled following surgery to correct whip finishers wrist.  (happy this time McCallum?  :z4)

Well done guys!

Why not use a float tube, you won't need to cast so far to reach the end of the tape!  :X2

yup, pathetically warm and dry... I did look out the window a few times, shaking my head, muttering, "madness...". Good effort getting out there!

I'm afraid I will not be able to attend the final event next month either  :roll
There's a memorial service on that day to commemorate the Coastguards who died in the Kessock Ferry disaster of 120 years ago and as the senior officer in the area I need to be there.
