Just underlines the fact our browns are predators, noted some serious teeth on s lot of trouts over the years and not uncommon to get a wee bit of damage getting my DHE's back  :shock :z4
Paul P agrees that we lose a few Rod Benders as a result of leader under tension running over the teeth, but even so those are some serious gnashers as Jim says.  Bet it would have made an awsome pic if caught when still alive n kicking.  :z16

Lost a serious fish last week in a strange fashion. It steamed straight across river stripping line off the reel and gone. I wasn't putting any pressure on it just the reel drag which is just enough to prevent overrun. Fly gone and end of tippet like it was cut with a scissors. No wind knots. Had to be teeth, can't think what else it could be. Bugger....
