Yes, aesthetics, romantic ideology of 'lost arts', the Stewart style blah blah. All makes good and proper sense. But the fact is 'the swing', induced take, Leisenring lift, whatever you want to call it, works, and works well at times. I have caught too many good fish with that method to flagrantly dismiss it...ahem, of course, I only fish upstream dry fly now.  :oops  :z7

You're right Iain, and in a shoot out with OE, as much as I respect him, I know who I'd stick my mortgage on, and I ain't a betting man ! :wink
