« on: 09/04/2007 at 21:55 »
Hi folks

The Haddo boats have enjoyed good sport this week, with black Buzzers, Spiders, Hare's Ear Nymphs, Cormorants and black Fritz proving to be the most productive flies.

Alex Burnett tempted 26 fish up to 8 lb for his session, John Baxter 14 up to 7½ lb, Scott Sim 22 up to 8 lb, Ron Bell 19 up to 4 lb, Kev Danby 18 up to 4 lb, Bill Cockrill 10 up to 5lb and Colin Shand netted 14 fish up to 11½ lb.

Colin McKay caught a nice 9½ lb rainbow, Kenny Hall one of 10 lb and Rod MacKay had a 9½ pounder.

Please note that the loch is booked for a club outing on Sunday 15th

Best wishes
Mike Barrio

I appreciate this is a week late but I had to go "work" offshore so didnt get time to post.

Mid Week was my first time at Haddo and I hade a brilliant day. Haven been to Lochters and Loch Inch and come up empty in Haddo provided my first ever fish caught on the fly.

I will certainly be coming back, if only the north sea could survive a few days without me!
