Just home from river. Beautiful night one of those nights it seemed like it would never get dark. Had half a dosen or so trout up to 3/4lb but didn't see any thing bigger moving. Finished off covering another small rise which was a sea trout of 2.5lbs so well pleased. That's my first fresh sea trout in 5 years fishing the don

Cheers guys. Jim as soon as Spain scored their second I left for the river Ireland are awful, an embarrassment tbh. At least I can look forward to our rugby team get another trashing from the kiwis tomorrow more fishing therapy required after half time probably!

Now you know what it's like to be Scottish. Lost count of the amount of fishin therapy i've indulged in Still at least you guys are there, we'll be lucky ever to reach another finals, especially when you play no strikers against beatable opposition. Feck it just go fishin.

nice work liam. was that using the battenkill reel? Give me a shout next time you are down my end of the river, and i'll show you a couple of pools/places where sea trout might be found. That said, if you keep on fishing the way you are fishing now, you'll be sure to hook a sea trout on the dry too, cool! Iain No it wasn't the Battenkill, I just got it spooled up yesterday and can't wait to hear it screaming Okay cool I'll be in B.o.D next weekend or the one after, not sure yet. Cheers Liam cheers iain
