What I learned this year is
- that a faster actioned rod suits my castingstyle better
- that practising on casting really makes a difference
- that I only need 3 rods: 4 wt, 6 wt and 9 wt (9 footers, of course)
- that I really only need 1 fly: a black wooly bugger with an orange bead (but I still take lots more with me...)
- that I missed coming to Scotland, but next year I'll be back  :z16

See you guys!

What do I know, or at least think I know?
- Fish the way you enjoy and donīt worry about the next person (as long as it is not illegal!)
- It is always time for bamboo (yet another victim of Soundmixer  :wink)
- Accuracy really pays of
- Never be afraid to cast into areas where you will lose your fly, the times you donīt you can end up with some decent fish.
Finally, work definitely gets in the way of fishing!

Awww Rob you shouldn't sell yourself short, with all that practice it was enevitable you would catch one eventually :z18

What do I know?

I know the more I learn, the more I realise how little I know :z8

But then if it wasn't a never ending learning experience I might eventually get  bored,
maybe,
or maybe not,
That's another thing I don't know  :z4

The longer I fish The less I know, the only thinking I do these days is whether my knees will get me up the hill, fishing to me is an automatic action , during the season I get up and go fishing, ( Iam, after all, retired) :z18 easgach1
