Just curious whats the difference between the two methods , seems to be pretty much alike ??
Seen some nice fly card selections in this month TF in the new tackle section , keen to give them a go.
Wondering if there is any tricks to fishing these two methods

Bung method:

This is done by suspending flies underneath a bouyant flie or indicator, The bouyant fly is used as an indicator and cant suspend a fly at whatever depth the angler wants.

Washing line can be done on any line, floater, midge tip , intermediate or a DI7
By sticking a booby or bouyant fly on the point it suspends the droppers and fishes back like a washing line,
Best fished on a midge tip with a booby on the point and nymphs and buzzers on the droppers!
Hope that helps,
