Partridge hooks

A while ago i was surprised by the change in quality of Partridge hooks,
As i stated in this very forum, as such i have been using very little else but the flashapoint series ever since.

i recieved some new hooks yesterday and for the first time they had stickers on them saying made in Singapore.

So it seems our great british hookmaker whose hooks have improved dramatically since being bought by the Norwegians Mustad are making these far better hooks in the far east. :z6

Its a funny old world

Flashpoint hooks, heard a lot of good comments about them but never tried them myself. I think GAC have a sale on with them so there is still time. Partridge double salmon P hooks are made in Singapore as well, i don't know if thats always been the case?

Pssssssst..Sandy,

Partridge were bought over by Mustard in 1996...production has slowly been switched abroad and many good and unique hooks have been dropped from the range :(

I can't get my Ad Swier Pike hooks anymore
