Can't say for sure Mike but I did drive to work this morning in semi light conditions and there's definitely a positive 'feel' about things today.

I just wonder how all the snow that's left is going to out to sea.

I was thinking exactly the same when walking the dogs tonight, really mild and very spring like if that means anything  :z4

Not out here it hasn't. I'm still looking out of the window at snow and it was over a foot deep at the top of the Slug road yesterday. The good news is that it's melting slowly this time, not like the floods in January.

I think we have probably seen the worst of winter now though. Maybe. Or perhaps not.  :z8

Spring started here about 2 weeks ago, last weekend in Feb saw trout moving on the Don and I have now managed to get my house to over 20 degrees for two days running for the first time since November, it must be spring  :z4

Hi Baz

Did you see what they were rising to? My fish were after small light coloured sedges on the surface today :wink

Cheers

Small brown flea like things and little beatles were also all over the water  :z16

The spring hasn’t arrived yet, should be around the corner, the other day we had +8.
