Small stillwaters near St Andrews

Going to St Andrews for a week with family from 11th Oct so was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for small stillwaters in area?

. Fifes not too bad for fishing. Edinburgh way bowdensprings, hopetoun and parkley are worth a fishing sesh if anyones down that way.
