I have booked myself for two day's on the famous loch leven, never fished it before.......and I'm keen to catch a Leven Brownie.

I have a day session and an evening session booked.

Anyone got any tips?.....areas to fish etc.

Really looking forward to this!!

Cheers,

Hi Steve,

Long time no hear.

I haven't fished the Loch in years and the last time I did it was in a competition (daytime event). There I was with my floating line and team of traditionals when all around me were sporting various densities and gaudy flies. The guy I was in the boat with was a real gent and fished there frequently - he had 3 cracking Browns and two Rainbows on fast intermediates/ sinkers with sparklers and various other mini lures.

A real eye opener for the smaller water angler.

I'm sure someone here will give you the gen and hope you are successful with the Broons
