Has any1 had any reasonable good sized brownies on these parts of the don recently and whats ure tatics ;) :z15

Certainly had some nice trout around Kintore, not fished at Dyce.  Usually tactics are to walk the river until I see a rise that look worth casting to and try to match what it is on.  In no hatch / rise situations and in the really deep pools I usually fish big streamers on fast sink lines, this is hard work but good fun and very rewarding!
