Has any1 had any reasonable good sized brownies on these parts of the don recently and whats ure tatics

Certainly had some nice trout around Kintore, not fished at Dyce.  Usually tactics are to walk the river until I see a rise that look worth casting to and try to match what it is on.  In no hatch / rise situations and in the really deep pools I usually fish big streamers on fast sink lines, this is hard work but good fun and very rewarding!
