Haddo Trout Fishery ( to May 4th )

Hi folks

Damsels, Buzzers and Bloodworm have been on the menu at Haddo, a week of fish boiling just below the surface and feeding on something that we haven't managed to work out.

Jimmy Rhind tempted 31 fish up to 6 lb for his session, Stuart Wilson had 27 up to 7 lb, David Alexander jnr 27 up to 4 lb, Dennis Mackay 24 up to 4 lb, Gordon Mackay 20 up to 3 lb, Ian Brown 18 up to 5 lb, Alex Burnett 17 up to 8 lb, Bruce Cameron 14 up to 3 lb, Billy Anderson 14 up to 3 lb, Kenny Hall 13 up to 3 lb and Michael Troup caught 12 fish up to 3 lb.

William Darroch, Ben Bryant, David Alexander snr and Drew Buchan all netted 11 fish, Derek Troup had 10 up to 6 lb and James Watt also enjoyed good sport with 10 fish up to 8 lb.

The fishing reports are so difficult to write every week ...... Once again the above catches might make the fishing appear easy, but I would point out however, that there were plenty of experienced anglers on the water that caught a lot less :wink

I'll have a look through this week's photos and will post some later :wink

Best wishes
Mike
