Rods. reels and accessories tend to be cheap and nasty BUT...some of the bags etc are spot on.

I was after a bag for carrying my Pike flies and bits and bobs about in a boat and was looking at some of the Chub/Greys bags available to the carp anglers in the £40 price range. I happened to nip into Lidl and saw a bag for £7.99  :z4

I bought it coz it looked similer to the Chub Stalker at £47. I later compared it with a "genuine" Chub and the thing is identical in every respect except the logo and the fact it came with 3 useful plastic boxes.

Presumably there is a factory somewhere in the far east churning out bags for various companies but with different logos.

Bought a few thing from Lidl and many are ok. Not professional quality but for occasional use fine.
