Yip, the Dee is over its banks at various places including Maryculter, Inchmarlo almost Crathes and I dare say other places. Went over it 30 minutes ago in Aberdeen and it would not surprise me if Riverside drive was closed soon as the tide starts to come in!

At 10:45 last night it was 13 degress C in Banchory and 12 degrees C at Glassel. The snow had all but gone...yet Sunday I had 14 inches in the garden! Just back from town and the car said 16 degrees!!!

drove along riverside drive last night and the water was right up to the road.....absolutely massive!!

was thinking about giving garthdee a go on saturday but not so sure now....

what state will inverurie be in saturday....fishable??

The weather is bizaree minus 11 driving into work last week at 06:00 , plus 11 today 

Enjoy it while you can more snow forecast for this time next week

Well, the Dee has dropped around 4 feet judging by the marks on the banks at Crathes...still extremely high though. The Palberry Pool is just a torrent and the bend pretty much straightened.

Even my gold fish pond has flooded..lol.

Some heavy rain in Deeside last night, be interesting to see what the Dee does........
Funny you should mention Crathes Rob as I'm fishing there (just one day, I'm not minted  ) in early March so with a bit of luck the river will be 'just nice' in time for my visit
Still, nice to see the snow f*cking off  Finally got the Fiat dug out of it's icy 'tomb'

I go across the bridge every morning and try to note the maker on the "stump" of the old bridge....the stump was not visible yesterday!!..lol..so thats what..8 or 9 feet of extra water and then some!

Would love to fish Crathes after reading Hugh Faulks' book Salmon as many of the "high water" pictures where taken from the bridge, with "taking areas" shown in the photos. Some jolly nice fly water there!
