I saw an advert in the Press & Journal newspaper this week that Loch Insch is up for sale ........ an opportunity to buy such a good fishery like this doesn't happen very often

I guess this could be an anxious time for the regulars - & I hope that the new owners come from a fishing background and continue to run it fairly

Hmmmmmmm...me feels a trip to the bank comming up!!!!

First thing I would do is plant some trees and turn one of the Lochs into a carp water

Orchill Fishery down by Gleneagles built a coarse pool last year, he openned a second pool beginning of this year and the coarse club i am in had to cancel one of our matches because the place was mobbed, 200 anglers fishing for small carp!!!! There is another 4 water fishery near cumbernauld and thats out the door with folk as well!

Its the biggest growing area of the sport in the UK, dwarfing trout angling when it comes to money spent on equipment and fishing....the time will come..am working on it
