Braeside Trout Fishery, Aberdeenshire

Braeside Trout fishery covers 2.5 acres of clear spring fed water that varies in depth from three to fifteen feet.

The venue is located just three miles south of Peterhead on the top of Stirlinghill and offers fly fishing for rainbow trout, brook trout and brown trout.

Braeside is fly fishing only, with a rod limit of twenty and is open from 8am to dusk ( or 11pm ) although other time arrangements can be made with prior notice.

Facilities include a heated fishing hut with gas and electricity. Free tea and coffee. A car park, flush toilet and disabled parking at the edge of the water.

Any 8 hours fishing (keep 4 fish) £20
Any 5 hours fishing (keep 2 fish) £12
Any 2 hours fishing (keep 1 fish) £8
Any 1 hour fishing (keep 1 fish) £6

Any 5 hours fishing (catch & release) £8
Rods are available for hire, a junior ticket is available and the fishery offers a discount to disabled anglers and pensioners.
Fishing parties, club outings and competitions are welcome.

( HOW TO GET THERE )

Travel South from Peterhead on the A90 for two miles. Turn right in Stirling Village and continue up the brae for a mile. The fishery is signposted on the left hand side.
