Description : Salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing on the River Don at Alford. The water is divided in to two main beats, with the one permit covering them both.
The upper beat runs from the marker just below Waterside Saw Mill, down stream to the Bridge Of Alford. Left bank fishing only, covering about 1 km in total.

The most productive flies for brown trout are : March Brown, Greenwell's Glory & Spider, Black Spider, Iron Blue Dun, Olive Dun, Olive Quill, Invicta, Silver Invicta and Wickham's Fancy.

The maximum number of rods per beat is : Unlimited?
